2022 Season
2022 NFL Schedule: Here are the Bears’ home and away contests
The 2022 NFL Schedule will be released in a few weeks, but for now, here are the Chicago Bears home and away opponents this season.
Once the 2022 NFL draft concludes, all eyes will be on May 12 and the release of the 2022 NFL schedule. And while we don’t have any credible leaks for the Chicago Bears’ 2022 schedule just yet, we do know who they’ll play at home and on the road.
The 2022 season will mark the second year the NFL features a 17-game schedule, and the Bears will benefit from the odd number of games with an extra home contest. They have nine games at Soldier Field against the following opponents: Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Buffalo Bills, Houston Texans, Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, Washington Commanders.
The Bears’ eight road opponents are the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots, New York Giants, and New York Jets.
According to Sharp Football, the Bears will have the second-easiest strength of schedule in the NFL in 2022. Football games are never won on paper in May, but it’s nice to know Chicago has a chance to punch above their weight class next season because of their favorable slate of games.
We won’t have to wait until May 12 for every game to be announced. The NFL is expected to reveal the 2022 Thursday night season kickoff game during the draft, and it’s assumed it will feature a home contest for the defending Super Bowl Champion Los Angeles Rams. International games will be shared on May 4.
The 2022 schedule release will air on the NFL Network on May 12 at 8:00 p.m. EST.
