Chicago Bears' 2022 schedule features a big advantage in December (2022 Season)

The Chicago Bears’ 2022 offseason is in the books. Next up, training camp. And with it comes the physicality of football, which, as coach Matt Eberflus pointed out this week, will separate the haves from the have-nots on the roster.

Check out his comments:

Much has been made of the Chicago Bears’ handling of the offensive line through OTAs and minicamp. But without the benefit of pads and full contact, Chicago’s coaching staff is limited in how much they can evaluate.

That’ll change in late July, and players like right tackle Teven Jenkins will benefit the most. His demotion to the second team in minicamp was a significant talking point the last few days, but he’ll get his chance to rewrite the narrative. He’s a nasty dude whose best attributes haven’t been on display yet.

We’ll have wall-to-wall coverage of training camp every day. Join the Bears Talk conversation by signing up for our social network here.
