Peter King says Justin Fields is in a ‘really, really good position’ in 2022

Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields will be charged with orchestrating offensive coordinator Luke Getsy’s system in 2022, one he’s brought from the Green Bay Packers and was mastered by future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers.

Fields has a long (long, LONG) way to go before he can be discussed in the same class as Rodgers, but NBC Sports’ Peter King was at Bears training camp this week and saw similarities in how the second-year passer is being used by Getsy.

“You bring Luke Getsy in from Green Bay, and I swear when I watched practice and I saw Justin Fields? I mean how many times have we seen Aaron Rodgers roll right and then nine out of 10 times he throws, and one out of 10 he scrambles,”
