The Chicago Bears have to trim their roster to 80 players by 4 p.m. EST on August 23. On Tuesday, general manager Ryan Poles made his first round of cuts — three players were waived and one was sent to injured reserve — to get the Bears roster down to 85 names.
Here’s the list of Bears players who’ve been let go so far this summer:
- DL Carson Taylor
- LB Christian Albright
- LB C.J. Avery
- TE Rysen John
- LB Noah Dawkins
- S Michael Joseph
- CB Jayson Stanley
- LB Javin White
Rookie center Doug Kramer was placed on injured reserve after potentially suffering a Lisfranc injury.
