Chicago Bears Week 3 inactives headlined by cornerback Jaylon Johnson, who’ll be sidelined with a quad injury against the Houston Texans
The Chicago Bears defense received good and bad news with the list of inactive players for Week 3 against the Houston Texans.
Linebacker Roquan Smith will play despite a hip injury that had his status in doubt this week. Cornerback Jaylon Johnson, meanwhile, is out with a quad injury.
Here’s the complete list of Bears inactives, including rookie wide receiver Velus Jones Jr., who’ll have to wait another week to make his NFL debut:
- WR Velus Jones Jr.
- CB Jaylon Johnson
- OL Ja’Tyre Cater
- CB Dane Cruikshank
- LB Matt Adams
- TE Ryan Griffin
The Texans are healthier for Sunday’s showdown but still have a handful of players who won’t suit up:
- TE Brevin Jordan
- WR Tyler Johnson
- DB Isaac Yiadom
- LB Jake Hansen
- OL Austin Deculus
- DL Kurt Hinish
