NFL Expert Picks: Almost no one (literally) thinks the Bears can beat the Bills

The Chicago Bears (3-11) are huge underdogs in Week 16’s Christmas Eve showdown against the Buffalo Bills (11-3) at Soldier Field.

Vegas oddsmakers have the Bills favored by 8.5 points, and almost every expert polled on NFL Pick Watch chose Buffalo to win the game.

Literally, almost every single one, 98% to be exact.

This shouldn’t be a surprise, or an insult, to Bears fans. The Bills are a Super Bowl contender, while Chicago is competing for a top-three pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Still, the X-factor is Justin Fields, who almost single-handedly upset the Philadelphia Eagles in a similar matchup of David vs. Goliath in Chicago in Week 15.

Smart money is on the Buffalo Bills. The Chicago Bears are injured and simply talent deficient. But ’tis the season for upsets across the NFL. Perhaps the Bears will grab on on Saturday.
