Equanimeous St. Brown has been reliable as a run blocker and occasional playmaker in the Bears’ offense this season. Still, his return in 2023 does not lessen the need for Chicago to add more weapons around Justin Fields this offseason.
St. Brown has 20 catches for 320 yards and one touchdown in 15 games played. He’s been thrust into the de facto WR1 role following Darnell Mooney’s injury and Chase Claypool’s slow learning curve. If all goes right for the Bears this offseason, St. Brown will return to his expected WR4 role next year.
