4 takeaways from Chicago Bears GM Ryan Poles' end-of-year press conference (2022 Season)

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter dropped a bit of a bombshell on the Waddle and Silvy show Wednesday when he said the Chicago Bears are expected to receive unbelievable offers for the No. 1 overall pick.

It’s long been presumed the Bears will trade out of the top pick, but speculation about what teams would offer was underwhelming because of Chicago’s commitment to QB Justin Fields.

Not so much anymore.

Schefter is the most reliable insider in the industry, so when he shares intel, you can bet on its accuracy.

The most logical suitor for the top pick is the Indianapolis Colts, whose owner Jim Irsay has the kind of personality to make a mind-boggling offer.

Expect rumors about a Chicago Bears trade at No. 1 overall to gain serious momentum during the NFL Combine at the end of February.
