Chicago Bears rank in bottom 6 teams in Pro Football Focus pre-draft NFL Power Rankings
Pro Football Focus’ pre-draft NFL Power Rankings lists the Chicago Bears among the bottom six teams in the NFL
Chicago Bears fans can’t expect much from NFL Power Rankings in March and April. Sure, GM Ryan Poles made positive additions in free agency, but until the roster adds a new draft class to its ranks, the Bears will continue appearing at or near the bottom of power rankings.
That’s why it’s no surprise where Chicago ranks in Pro Football Focus’ pre-draft power rankings. They check in at No. 26.
“The Bears have made some solid moves in free agency and still have the most salary cap available of any team,” PFF’s Ameila Probst wrote. “Their defense struggled in 2022, so adding two solid linebackers in Tremaine Edmunds and T.J. Edwards may help fix that. Further, defensive tackles Andrew Billings and DeMarcus Walker are huge upgrades to their defensive line. They’ve also shored up their offensive line to protect Fields by signing guard Nate Davis.”
