Bears injury report: Long list of banged-up players for Week 8
See what’s changed for the Chicago Bears on the injury front as they prepare for a Week 8 road matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.
The Chicago Bears have released their updated injury report as they prepare for Sunday’s Week 8 road matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, and it’s a long list.
The good news? Wide receiver DJ Moore (hip) and running back D’Andre Swift (groin) both returned to practice in a limited capacity Thursday after missing Wednesday’s practice. Defensive lineman Grady Jarrett (knee), kicker Cairo Santos (right thigh), and defensive back Nahshon Wright (hip) were also full participants in practice Thursday after being limited the day before.
The bad news? Offensive tackle Braxton Jones didn’t practice Thursday after being limited on Wednesday. Defensive back Tyrique Stevenson (shoulder), tight end Cole Kmet (back), and running back Roschon Johnson (back) all missed practice for the second straight day.
Linebacker Tremaine Edmunds (ankle) and defensive back Kyler Gordon (groin/calf) were also limited Thursday after not being listed on the initial report after Wednesday’s practice.
Here’s the official list from the team:
With the Ravens possibly getting star quarterback Lamar Jackson back from his hamstring injury for Sunday’s game, the Bears will need all the help they can get if they want to extend their winning streak to five games.
