2023 NFL Draft: Bears make trade with Saints to kick off 4th round
2023 NFL Draft: Chicago Bears strike a trade with New Orleans Saints to kick off the fourth round. Here are all the details.
That was fast.
Chicago Bears GM Ryan Poles has already struck a trade on Day 3 of the 2023 NFL draft, agreeing to swap fourth-round picks with the New Orleans Saints while picking up an extra fifth-rounder.
Here are the complete details of the trade:
The #Bears picked up No. 165 (30th pick of the fifth round) to slide back 12 spots at the start of the fourth round. The #Saints will pick first today. https://t.co/2YptrCSz6y

The Chicago Bears were slated to pick first in Round 4, but Poles must’ve felt comfortable sliding back a dozen spots with the number of quality prospects still on the board.
Call it a hunch, but I don’t think Poles is anywhere near finished trading today. Buckle up.
