VIDEO: Justin Fields throws dart to DJ Moore for TD in OTAs
WATCH: Video from Chicago Bears OTAs of Justin Fields and DJ Moore connecting for a touchdown in what’s been a productive series of workouts for the duo.
Chicago Bears fans have been waiting for a wide receiver like DJ Moore since the prime years of the Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery duo. Armed with QB Justin Fields, the Bears’ passing game has a chance to emerge as shockingly productive in 2023, especially if the Fields-Moore duo takes flight.
There’s a good possibility it will, especially with how the pair has connected during OTAs.
Check out this video of Fields throwing a dart to Moore in the back of the end zone for a gorgeous touchdown.

Moore was the sugar on top of the Chicago Bears’ blockbuster trade that sent the No. 1 pick in the 2023 draft to the Carolina Panthers for Moore and a boatload of early-round picks, including multiple first-rounders. GM Ryan Poles used one of those top picks on right tackle Darnell Wright.

DJ Moore provides the Bears with an explosive and established playmaker on an offense that was desperate for one aside from Fields last year. He scored a career-best seven touchdowns in 2022 and eclipsed 1,100 receiving yards in three-straight seasons from 2019-2021.

Fields, meanwhile, threw for just 2,242 yards and 17 scores but ran for a near-record-breaking 1,143 and eight scores in 2022. Neither Fields nor the Chicago Bears want him to use his legs as much in 2023, making an addition like Moore even more critical.
The Bears’ new-look receiver corps will make the preseason exciting to watch. Moore joins Chase Claypool, Darnell Moony, and rookie Tyler Scott as the likely top-four receivers, while veterans Dante Pettis, Equanimeous St. Brown, and 2022 third-round pick Velus Jones Jr. battle for one or two remaining depth-chart roles.
