WATCH: Justin Fields cracks list of NFL’s Top 100 Players of 2023

Brace yourself, Chicago Bears fans. You have a quarterback who’s regarded as one of the top 100 players in the NFL.

Let that sink in for a minute.

The NFL shared a teaser video of their Top 100 Players series, and Fields was the featured player. We don’t know his ranking, but he made the cut.

The Bears are infamous for never fielding a quarterback who’s thrown for 4,000 yards in a season, but none of that matters now with Fields. He’s already considered one of the best running quarterbacks in the NFL, and with an elevated supporting cast in 2023, his production as a passer should improve by leaps and bounds.

“He’s probably the best running quarterback I’ve seen,” said 49ers edge rusher Nick Bosa. “I think his throwing ability is going to keep getting better.”

The first 10 players from the Top 100 will be revealed on July 24.

Justin Fields has been the target of unfair criticism from Fox Sports’ Colin Cowherd in recent weeks. Cowherd unleashed on Fields after the Bears QB said he thinks he’s already a top-five rushing quarterback of all time.

“Right now, he’s a YouTube quarterback,” Cowherd said.
