The Chicago Bears begin their 2023 preseason this weekend against the Tennessee Titans. According to coach Matt Eberflus, starters, including quarterback Justin Fields, will play.
Bears fans will be anxious with Fields in the lineup for a meaningless game, but reps are critical for the third-year passer to be armed and dangerous in time for Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers.
The Tennessee Titans have traditionally been a well-coached team under Mike Vrabel’s watch and should provide a good litmus test for where the Bears are at this point in the summer.
