The Chicago Bears initially signed 11 players to their 2023 practice squad, but they were expected to max out the 16 players allowed for each team.
They’re almost there.
Chicago has 15 players and one International Pathway Program player on their 16-player practice squad. The Bears get an exemption for the international player, leaving one spot on the practice squad open.
Here is the complete list of players who are now members of the Chicago Bears practice squad:

- Jalen Harris, DE
- Greg Stroman Jr., CB

- Kendall Williamson, S
- Deslin Alexandre, DE
- Daniel Hardy, DE
- Bill Murray, OL
- John Parker Romo, K
- A.J. Thomas, S
- Roy Mbaeteka, OL (International Pathway Program)
The notable names on this list are defensive lineman Travis Bell and safety Kendall Williamson, who are members of the team’s 2023 NFL Draft class.
The Bears practice squad consists of two LBs, one DT, one FB, one TE, three OL, three DE, one CB, one WR, two SAF, and one K.
