The Chicago Bears are a dumpster fire. They’re 0-3 and considered the worst team in the NFL. Justin Fields is struggling, and Matt Eberflus is a favorite to be the first coach fired in 2023.

It can’t get any worse, right?

Well, you could be the Denver Broncos (0-3), who gave up 70 points to the Miami Dolphins last week.

Neither the Bears nor the Broncos are any good, and both teams are looking at Week 4 as a potential get-right game. In the infamous words of former Bears coach Matt Nagy, that’s where we’re at right now.

The Chicago Bears’ 2023 season already feels like it’s over. But a win on Sunday could restore a pulse in what was supposed to be an exciting year. Remember: The Washington Commanders are on deck in Week 5, and that’s a winnable game (for most teams), too.

Fields needs a breakout game, and he needs it now. If he struggles against a Broncos defense that was humiliated by Tua Tagovailoa in Week 3, there won’t be many Bears fans who remain in his corner.
