2023 Season
WATCH: Every pass protection rep by Bears rookie Darnell Wright in Week 3
VIDEO of every pass protection rep for Chicago Bears rookie Darnell Wright against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 3.
The Chicago Bears selected right tackle Darnell Wright in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft with the expectation he’d become a bookend pass-protector for Justin Fields.
Through three games of his rookie season, he’s been (almost) as good as advertised.
Wright is Pro Football Focus’ highest-graded offensive lineman for the Bears and the second-highest-graded Bear on offense for players who’ve logged more than 100 snaps.
Darnell Wright hasn’t been perfect this year, but he’s quickly established himself as Chicago’s best offensive lineman at one of the most difficult positions to fill in the NFL.
You can check out Wright’s performance for yourself. Here are all his pass protection reps from Week 3’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
