How to watch, stream, and listen to Bears vs. Raiders Week 7 game
Chicago Bears vs. Las Vegas Raiders: Here are all the ways to watch, stream, and listen to the Bears vs. Raiders Week 7 game.
It’s hard to find reasons to get excited about the Chicago Bears vs. Las Vegas Raiders Week 7 game. Maybe it’s Tyson Bagent, the undrafted rookie quarterback who’ll make his first NFL start for the Bears. Perhaps he’s the one. You know, the one who can break Chicago’s quarterback curse.
I doubt it. You doubt it. But we’ll still watch.
It’d be nice if it were Justin Fields under center (or in shotgun trying to snag wild snaps from Cody Whitehair and Lucas Patrick). He was supposed to be the one. And, hopefully, he still is. But we’re drifting away from that reality with each passing day.
Fans are excited about Bagent. I am, too. How can you not be? He has swagger. He’s confident. He processes quickly and throws an accurate football. It’s refreshing.
The odds the Shepherd University star will become a celebrity in Chicago are low. Really low. But in a season that’s already lost, why not hold out some hope, right?
The Las Vegas Raiders will give Bagent a chance for a quality first start. Their defense is … OK. It isn’t great, but it isn’t a pushover, either, at least not against the pass.
The Raiders defense ranks 19th in points allowed. They’re a top-10 unit (No. 8) in passing yards allowed at just 193.7 per game. They’ve surrendered eight touchdown passes through six games, which ranks 15th in the league.
I’m sure offensive coordinator Luke Getsy will call a run-heavy game and lean on veteran D’Onta Foreman to shoulder most of the load. But he’ll have to call Bagent’s number at some point, and it’ll be fun to see how he responds.
