Aaron Rodgers says he's playing Week 13 against the Bears (2022 Season)

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers left Week 12's Sunday night game against the Philadelphia Eagles with a rib injury that put his playing status for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears in doubt.

On Tuesday, he put an end to questions about whether he'll suit up in Week 13.

Rodgers appeared on The Pat McAfee show and confirmed his ribs are good to go against the Bears.

"I might miss practice Wednesday but that's been the standard for the last six, seven weeks [and] go to one of my favorite places to play, Chicago, get a big win, get into the bye week and get healthy," Rodgers said.

Jordan Love

Aaron Rodgers, not Jordan Love will start vs. Bears

Speculation about what the Packers will do at quarterback began after Rodgers got hurt and 2020 first-round pick, Jordan Love, entered the game and performed well. He completed six-of-nine passes for 113 yards and one touchdown.

With Green Bay's playoff chances hanging on by a thread, it may be wise to begin looking toward the future, one that's unlikely to include Rodgers in 2023. Starting Love would make sense.

But Rodgers is all about, well, Rodgers. And you know there's no chance he'll allow Love to start a game, even if he's less than 100% healthy.

Buckle up, Bears fans. Mr. Rodgers will be back in the neighborhood on Sunday.
