Chicago Bears Prop Bets: Week 8 at Cowboys (2022 Season)

Welcome back to the gambling corner. We are up to 13-6 on the season after another 2-1 performance last week. The Bears are riding high after a strong performance in New England on Monday night, but the Dallas defense presents a bigger challenge. We will have to be a bit more selective to continue our winning streak on the gambling front. Hopefully, the Bears can win with us.

Justin Fields over 47.5 rushing yards (-125): Justin Fields put on an absolute show with his legs on Monday night. He was decisive and ran with conviction. His athleticism and field vision continue to amaze whenever he takes off. The Cowboys will likely commit a defender to spy Fields, but his ability to find open space will reign supreme. The Bears finally started to call some designed runs last week, and I expect this trend to continue. Look for Fields' legs to be a big part of the offensive attack again.

Khalil Herbert over 5.5 receiving yards (-120): Herbert had another incredible game on Monday night both in the ground game and air attack. His 25-yard TD reception was a huge turning point in that game. The Bears recognize how much of a weapon they have in Khalil Herbert. His receiving ability gives him a more diverse skill set and allows the Bears to run two-back sets with David Montgomery. I expect Herbert to see a lot of 3rd down snaps. He will be the benefactor of a couple of 3rd and long screen plays. Add in his time lining up in the slot, and Herbert should be cashing this bet early.

Justin Fields longest rush over 15.5 yards (-115): Justin Fields is at his best when he is on the move. He has a special ability to find open field when he takes off, and this has led to multiple long runs in recent weeks. As I mentioned earlier, the Cowboys might commit a defender to spy him, but I don't think that will prevent Fields from having success running the ball again. The Bears will need Fields to run the ball if they want to win on the road in Dallas. I think Fields will be running for his life on Sunday afternoon, and it only takes one long run to win this bet.
