Bears are the popular pick among experts in Week 6 game vs. Commanders (2022 Season)

There's much to be excited about for Chicago Bears fans Thursday night. Justin Fields has a chance at a breakout game in front of a national audience; the Bears will wear orange helmets for the first time in franchise history; and their opponent, the Washington Commanders, will provide Matt Eberflus with an excellent opportunity for his third win as a head coach.

The Commanders have lost four-straight games and will field an injured Carson Wentz at quarterback. And while Washington's defense is a competent group, the Bears are simply the better team.

Experts appear to agree, too. According to NFL Pick Watch, 61% of experts picked the Bears to win the game. The oddsmakers at Vegas seem to think otherwise, though.

Chicago is getting one point (+1) at the time of this post via BetMGM. With home teams usually earning a three-point edge, the Bears being an underdog of any kind is somewhat surprising.

Kickoff between the Bears and Commanders is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. EST (7:15 p.m. CST) from Soldier Field in Chicago.
