The Trevor Siemian era didn't last long in Chicago. The Bears' backup quarterback strained his oblique muscle in pregame warmups and won't start against the New York Jets in Week 12.
It's Nathan Peterman time.
Nathan Peterman now will be the Bears starting QB today. Trevor Siemian, who was supposed to start, hurt his oblique during warmups and now will serve as the No. 2 to Peterman. David Montgomery will be the Bears’ emergency QB.

Peterman is 1-3 as a starter in the NFL and boasts a horrendous three touchdowns to 12 interceptions in his career.
There's still a chance Siemian will play. While Peterman was announced the starter, Siemian has continued warming up with the first team and has not been scratched from the game.
The team announced Peterman will be the starter ... right now Trevor Siemian is taking reps with the starters in warmups.

Regardless of who lines up under center, it's going to be a lot of David Montgomery left, David Montgomery right, and David Montgomery up the middle for the Bears at MetLife Stadium.
Trevor Siemian currently in uniform and going through warmups, including throwing, so maybe he's an emergency option today. Nathan Peterman working with 1st team.
