WATCH: Justin Fields shows off arm talent on impressive throw to N'Keal Harry (2022 Season)

Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields didn't have the best first day of padded practices at training camp on Tuesday. But he did provide a few highlights for onlookers at Halas Hall.

One play shared on Twitter caught my attention as a 'wow' throw from Fields. He ripped an on-target would-be touchdown to wide receiver N'Keal Harry on a rep that looked similar to what we've become used to seeing from Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes.

For context, The Athletic's Adam Jahns tweeted that this play occurred after a false start but that both sides of the ball continued through the rep. Justin Fields, who looks like he's stepping up in the pocket and leaning slightly to the right, throws a strike across his body to the back corner of the end zone.

Insert chef's kiss here.

Fields' natural gifts as a passer and runner aren't in question. He's been the best football player on any field he's played since his days as a high school star. And while the NFL is a different breed of animal, there's a good chance he'll continue that trend as he gains more experience as a starter.

On this rep, we see what makes Justin Fields special. He's a threat to score with his legs or his arm from any time he has the ball. Fields is the kind of player who can level up an offense with average skill players, and for the 2022 Chicago Bears, he'll likely be asked to do just that.
