2023 Season
How to watch, stream, and listen to Bears vs. Lions Week 11 game
Here are all the ways to watch, stream, and listen to the Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions Week 11 game.
Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields will return to the starting lineup in Week 11 against the Detroit Lions and kick off a seven-week audition to keep his gig as the Bears’ franchise quarterback.
It’s unfortunate that we’ve reached this point in Fields’ career, that he hasn’t done enough in his first 2.5 seasons to be already jockeying for a lucrative second contract. Instead, he has to prove to GM Ryan Poles that the Bears don’t need to use one of their two 2024 first-round picks on a quarterback, even if they win the Caleb Wiliams (or Drake Maye?) sweepstakes.
The Chicago Bears’ first three games in this seven-week run will help answer questions about Fields’ future. All three are NFC North contests: two against the Lions and a game against the Vikings.
If Fields goes 0-3? Not good. If he pulls out at least one win, or even two? Not bad. If, somehow, the Chicago Bears sweep all three games? There won’t be any debate about who QB1 in 2024 and beyond is.
No, I don’t think the Bears will win their next three games, but I expect Justin Fields to keep them close. He has to keep Chicago in the game well into the fourth quarter. The Bears can’t be victims of lopsided losses with a lifeless offense. If it gets that ugly, then, yeah, it could be time to move on.
But we’re not there yet, and you must tune in to ensure you see how Fields does for yourself.
