2023 Season
How to watch, stream, and listen to Bears vs. Vikings Week 12 game
Here are all the ways to tune into the Chicago Bears vs. Minnesota Vikings Monday Night Football game in Week 12.
Monday night has to be the night, right? It has to be the night that Chicago Bears coach Matt Eberflus finally gets his first win against an NFC North opponent as a Bears coach.
Eberflus hasn’t had many wins during his tenure in Chicago … he owns a 6-22 record through 28 games. So, maybe it isn’t all that surprising that he’s gone o-fer against NFC north rivals.
Monday night will be the Bears’ last chance to get a win over the Minnesota Vikings this year. They lost their first meeting 19-13 in Week 6. You remember the game, it’s when Justin Fields dislocated his right thumb and kicked off the short-lived Tyson Bagent mania.
That Bears’ loss wasn’t the best moment for offensive coordinator Luke Getsy. He was the only person in the country who apparently didn’t know Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores likes to blitz. It was either that, or he wanted Fields to get slaughtered.
We’ll give him the benefit of the doubt on that one.
NFL experts aren’t giving the Chicago Bears the benefit of the doubt in Week 12, 88% picked the Vikings to win.
The one thing Chicago has going for them (maybe?) is at quarterback, where Fields should outduel Josh Dobbs. Sure, the Vikings QB has been a fun story in 2023, but he isn’t the talent Fields is. Let’s face it: if Justin Fields doesn’t outshine Dobbs on a national primetime game, Bears fans may want to get fitted for Caleb Williams or Drake Maye jerseys.
Fields is down to six games to prove the Chicago Bears don’t need to spend either of their first-round picks on a quarterback in the 2024 NFL draft. He is the beginning, middle, and end of any relevance this game has. And you’re not going to want to miss it.
