It’s the debate that will dominate the Chicago Bears offseason conversation: What should the Bears do at quarterback?

There’s a divide among Bears fans about what the right answer is. There’s a large contingent who believe that keeping Justin Fields and using high first-round picks on assets that will help is the correct strategy. An equally large segment of the fanbase wants the Bears to move on and select either Caleb Williams or Drake Maye in the 2024 NFL Draft.

After Week 15’s loss to the Browns, there’s no clear right answer.

Fields was very average in the 20-17 defeat. He was outdueled by 38-year-old Joe Flacco. The Bears offense produced just 10 points, and the lone touchdown came after an Eddie Jackson interception gave Chicago the ball at Cleveland’s one-yard line.

Not great.

Fields completed just 19 of 40 passes for 166 yards and one touchdown. He threw two interceptions on Hail Mary’s.

Justin Fields’ poor performance will reignite the talking heads and the quarterback drama this week. In fact, it already began in the locker room shortly after the game ended.

Wide receiver DJ Moore was asked about the Chicago Bears’ quarterback situation, and he didn’t hold back with his answer. He’s in the pro-Fields camp.

“Ya’ll asked me that last week?” Moore said, via
