Chicago Bears among three teams headed to London in 2024
The Chicago Bears are one of three teams playing in London during the 2024 NFL season.
I’m not a huge fan of the Chicago Bears playing international games, so it should come as no surprise that I was a bit disappointed by the news that the Bears are one of three teams headed to London as part of the NFL’s 2024 across-the-pond schedule.

Unfortunately, the London game will count as one of the Bears’ home contests at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and it makes sense that the opponent is the Jacksonville Jaguars since they’re scheduled to play two games in the U.K. this year. However, we won’t know for sure who Chicago’s opponent will be until the much-anticipated schedule release later this year.
“Every game the Chicago Bears play is rich in tradition, culture and passion,” said Bears Chairman George H. McCaskey. “And every year, game after game, we look forward to welcoming fans to experience that richness. This year, we will take our storied franchise and tradition back to London and share internationally what our fans locally experience at every game. We are excited to join the many NFL teams who are expanding internationally to play a game in London during our 2024 season.”
The Bears last played in London in 2019 when they faced the Las Vegas Raiders.
