Former Bears DL Justin Jones Signs 3-year Deal with Cardinals
Former Chicago Bears defensive lineman and all-around good guy Justin Jones signed a three-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals on Monday.
While we wait for the Chicago Bears to announce another signing on the first day of the 2024 legal tampering period, it’s worth noting a former Bear who just got paid.
And when I say former, I mean… a 2023 Bears defender who was productive.
Defensive lineman Justin Jones is now an Arizona Cardinal after agreeing to a three-year, $30 million contract.
NFL Network’s Peter Schrager was the first to report the news.
DT Justin Jones has agreed to terms with the Arizona Cardinals, per source.
3 years, $30.1M, $19.75M Guaranteed. @nflnetwork @NFLonFOX #frenzy #first

Jones started all 34 games for the Bears over the last two seasons, totaling 7.5 sacks and 101 tackles. While he never quite became the dominant three-tech the Bears had hoped for, he certainly played well during the two years he was in Chicago.
Justin Jones was the Chicago Bears’ Walter Payton Man of the Year Award nominee, and his leadership inside the locker room will certainly be missed.
