Twitter Reacts to Bears Trading for Keenan Allen

The Chicago Bears traded a fourth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft for Los Angeles Chargers superstar receiver Keenan Allen on Thursday night, and as you’d imagine, Twitter lit up.

Allen brings veteran stability and elite production to a wide receiver room that already features DJ Moore and an offense with quality pass-catching tight ends in Cole Kmet and Gerald Everett.

With Caleb Williams the expected pick at No. 1 overall, the Chicago Bears’ offense has been completely revamped this offseason. General manager Ryan Poles signed running back D’Andre Swift to add a more explosive element to the running game, too.

Keenan Allen will be 32 this season

But last year he had 108 catches for 1,243 yards & 7 touchdowns

As long as he stays healthy, Bears have their best WR duo since Brandon Marshall & Alshon Jeffrey.

I won’t go as far to call the Bears a playoff team here in March, but if they get their quarterback situation figured out, I would not be surprised if they are one of the top seven teams in the NFC next year. Nice trade for Keenan Allen.
