RGIII Offers Terrible Draft Advice to Caleb Williams
Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III offered Caleb Williams some terrible NFL Draft advice, and it had to do with the Chicago Bears.
Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III has become a popular media figure since his playing career ended. Griffin III can also be a hot-take artist once in a while. In his latest controversial video, Griffin III claims that USC quarterback Caleb Williams should demand a trade and refuse to play for the Chicago Bears, who own the No. 1 pick. Griffin III offers terrible advice to Williams, who should be excited to play for the Bears.

Bears general manager Ryan Poles has spent the offseason filling out an exciting supporting cast in anticipation of Williams’ arrival. A starting-caliber running back was added via D’Andre Swift. Poles then executed a blockbuster by trading for Los Angeles Chargers Pro Bowl receiver Keenan Allen.
Allen and D.J. Moore should quickly form one of the league’s most exciting duos at receiver. Gerald Everett was also signed at tight end to support Cole Kmet. The Bears now have a more complete supporting cast in place on offense.
Head coach Matt Eberflus also made a shrewd addition to his staff by hiring Shane Waldron as offensive coordinator. Waldron possesses an exciting offensive mind after previously working under Sean McVay with the Los Angeles Rams. Most recently, Waldron revived the career of Geno Smith in Seattle. Waldron runs a QB-friendly system that should quickly endear itself to Williams.
The offensive line is also an exciting work in progress. Ryan Bates and Matt Pryor are quality additions that could develop into starters on an improved line. Williams will be better protected than Justin Fields was.
Williams has done things differently throughout the pre-draft process. Williams hasn’t hired a traditional agent, and he didn’t partake in a throwing session at the NFL Combine. Nothing indicates Williams isn’t excited to play for the Bears, however. Williams is the face-of-the-franchise quarterback the Bears have been searching for.
