It’s a Who’s Who of Bears Decision Makers at USC Pro Day

If you were wondering just how interested the Chicago Bears are in USC quarterback Caleb Williams, their turnout at the presumptive No. 1 overall pick’s pro day should erase any doubt.

It’s a Who’s Who list of Bears decision makers at USC Wednesday, including GM Ryan Poles, coach Matt Eberflus, and offensive coordinator Shane Waldron.

In the Bears’ traveling party for Caleb Williams’ Pro Day at USC in Los Angeles: head coach Matt Eberflus, OC Shane Waldron, GM Ryan Poles and assistant GM Ian Cunningham. That crew will also be in Ann Arbor Friday.

The Chicago Bears paved the way for Caleb Williams to be their next quarterback after trading Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a conditional 2025 sixth-round pick. There’s little Williams can do to mess that up at his pro day, and while there will likely be a few highlight throws that make their rounds on social media, the real benefit of the Bears being on site is more face-to-face interaction with Williams.

Caleb Williams’ pro day is scheduled to begin at 1:30 pm EST on Wednesday.
