Check Out Caleb Williams’ Awesome Reply to Pink Cell Phone Drama
Future Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams posted an awesome reply to the pink cell phone drama that’s circulated on social media in recent days.
In case you missed it, Caleb Williams, the expected first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, was caught on camera during a recent USC basketball game holding a pink phone, what appeared to be a pink wallet, allegedly painted fingernails, and, according to Twitter trolls, wearing pink lip gloss.
As you can imagine, the response on social media was… unhealthy. Williams haters seized the opportunity to make jokes about his sexuality. It was a low point for football fans who participated in the nonsense.
Here’s the video that sparked so much attention:

Caleb Williams is a unique dude—there’s no denying that. He’s also extremely confident—the kind of guy who has no problem sporting a pink iPhone. And guess what? He’s also the caliber of athlete who can pull it off.
Still, the more unique you are, the more of a target you become. But unlike his likely predecessor in Chicago, Williams doesn’t need to disconnect from social media when there’s a storm of controversy around him. Instead, he appears to embrace it.

Man, you have to love Caleb Williams’ response to all the noise. He literally laughs at it. He knows who he is, he knows how special he is. And, most of all, he can handle it.
In a weird way, this video nonsense is another check in Williams’ favor. The Chicago Bears can use the last few days as evidence of how he’ll respond to a firestorm of criticism after a bad game or a stretch of bad games. He’s unfazed.
Caleb Williams has the stuff franchise quarterbacks are made of.
