The Chicago Bears hosted Oklahoma offensive tackle Tyler Guyton on a pre-draft visit. Albert Breer reports that Guyton visited Halas Hall on Wednesday. Guyton visited as part of a larger pre-draft group that included Caleb Williams and Alabama pass rusher Dallas Turner.
The Bears’ 30 visit with USC Caleb Williams took place today, as @WaddleandSilvy said. He was part of a larger group that included Alabama OLB Dallas Turner and Oklahoma OT Tyler Guyton, sources said.
Several veterans—such as DJ Moore and Tyrique Stevenson—were on hand too.

Guyton is considered one of the most athletic offensive tackle prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Sooners standout leaped an outstanding 34.5-inch vertical at the NFL Combine. Other impressive results for the 6-foot-7, 322-pound blocker included a 5.19 40 with a 1.76 10-yard split and an 8-foot-11 broad jump.
Guyton is so athletically gifted that many believe he possesses as much upside as any tackle prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft class. That’s quite the compliment considering tackles like Joe Alt, Olu Fashanu, and Troy Fautanu are expected to be top 20 selections. Guyton’s raw potential is that impressive.
Tyler Guyton is a OT prospect in the 2024 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.74 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 35 out of 1293 OT from 1987 to 2024.

Guyton enters the 2024 NFL Draft with over 1,000 career snaps at right tackle and fewer than 100 at left tackle. The Bears drafted a right tackle last year in Darnell Wright. It’s worth acknowledging that NFL scouts believe Guyton possesses the athleticism and movement skills necessary to transition to left tackle at the next level successfully. If they’re on board with that belief, the Bears would have considerably more interest in Guyton.

The Bears could consider drafting a left tackle to compete with Braxton Jones with the No. 9 overall selection. Utilizing a top-10 pick may be rich for Guyton, who is earning pick 20 or onward projections, but never say never due to his sky-high potential. If Poles trades down to accumulate additional draft capital, Guyton becomes a more realistic first-round target. After all. the Bears are equipped with just four total selections.
