NFL Draft
4 OTs the Chicago Bears could target with each pick in the 2024 NFL Draft
Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Poles will almost certainly select an offensive tackle in the 2024 NFL Draft. Who will he target?
Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Poles will almost certainly draft an offensive tackle in the 2024 NFL Draft after striking gold with Darnell Wright last season. Wright is a long-term solution at right tackle, but Poles could look to draft another tackle to compete with Braxton Jones at left tackle. After all, protecting Caleb Williams will be of the utmost importance.
With Chicago’s specific draft capital in mind, we’ve identified four interior defensive line prospects, including an undrafted free-agent type, the Bears should target in the 2024 NFL Draft.
FIRST ROUND (NO. 9) | OLU FASHANU | PENN STATE
Fashanu is a plug-and-play left tackle prospect. He’ll likely be available when the Bears pick at No. 9 because Notre Dame’s Joe Alt is projected to be drafted before him. Fashanu is an easy mover with the athletic movement skills required to thrive on an island in one-versus-one situations.
Olumuyiwa Fashanu is a OT prospect in the 2024 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.49 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 67 out of 1293 OT from 1987 to 2024.

THIRD ROUND (NO. 75) | KIRAN AMEGADJIE | YALE
The Bears hosted Kiran Amegadjie on a pre-draft 30 visit, insinuating they possess legitimate interest in his services. Amegadjie is a mammoth blocker (6-5, 326) with 36 inch arms and an 85.5 inch wingspan. Amegadjie typically played against low level competition at Yale. He’ll likely require some development, but his ceiling screams Pro Bowl potential.
FOURTH ROUND (NO. 122) | BRANDON COLEMAN | TCU
Brandon Coleman pairs athleticism (4.99 40, 34 inch vertical) with ideal length (34.625 inches) at the offensive tackle position. Coleman was an underrated performer at this year’s Senior Bowl. Coleman showcased consistently good hand placement and anchor in Mobile. Balance issues have arisen on tape and is an area of improvement.
UDFA | TYLAN GRABLE | UCF
Tylan Grable is one of the most athletic offensive tackles in the 2024 NFL Draft. Grable captured insane results at the NFL Combine in the 40 (4.95), vertical (36.5 inches), and broad jump (9-foot-9). On tape, Grable is an athletic blocker that struggles with power and balance. His combine showing may have elevated his pre-draft status, but he’s roughly the 30th-ranked tackle on my big board, placing him in undrafted free agent territory.
Tylan Grable is a OT prospect in the 2024 draft class. He scored a 9.84 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 22 out of 1330 OT from 1987 to 2024.
