NFL Draft
REPORT: Chicago Bears are ‘open for business’ and ready to trade No. 9 pick
The Chicago Bears are reportedly open to trade the No. 9 pick as the 2024 NFL draft inches closer.
The Athletic’s Dianna Russini provided an interesting update on the Chicago Bears 2024 NFL Draft plans, specifically with the ninth overall pick.
Russini tweeted that the Bears have put the word out that they’re ready to trade the No. 9 selection, for the right price.
The Chicago Bears are very open for business at 9 and telling teams they are ready to move for the right price, per source.

This isn’t a huge surprise, considering GM Ryan Poles’ propensity to move around the draft board in an effort to gain more selections. And with Chicago only having four picks in their arsenal right now, the fastest way to stock their draft-pick shelves is by trading back a few spots in Round 1.
The most likely trade partners include quarterback-needy teams who could be eying one of the big-four passers should they suffer a first-round slide.
Keep an eye on the Denver Broncos (No. 12 overall) and the Las Vegas Raiders (No. 13 overall) as potential trade partners.
