The first round of the 2024 NFL Draft ended with the Chicago Bears hitting two home runs: Caleb Williams at No. 1 overall and Rome Odunze at No. 9 overall.

Yes, you read that correctly. The Bears drafted both Williams and Odunze. It was a great first round, but now that the top 32 picks are in the books, Chicago will have to wait a while before selecting again.

The Bears are scheduled to pick next at No. 75 overall, and while there’s certainly a chance that GM Ryan Poles will trade into the second round, it doesn’t feel like he’ll be desperate to add another high pick to his arsenal. Remember: the Chicago Bears did make two picks already.

Chicago can sit back, watch the second round unfold, and let the draft fall to them at No. 75. But will a starting-quality player be available when they select in the third round?
