Three most exciting games on the Chicago Bears’ 2024 schedule
These three Chicago Bears games will be the most exciting of the 2024 NFL season.
With the 2024 NFL schedule in our hands, the anticipation for these must-watch games is palpable. Week 1, the season opener, sets the tone for the entire year and is a game that fans of every team eagerly await. But beyond that, we can deem a few games on the calendar “must-watch.”
Let’s dive into three of the Chicago Bears’ most thrilling games, excluding the season opener in Week 1. These games are crucial for the Bears as they aim to make their mark in the 2024 NFL season.
Week 2 @ Texans
Both teams likely come into this matchup 1-0 and look to build momentum to start the season. The number one overall pick and Rookie of the Year favorite, Caleb Williams, is going up against the reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year, C.J. Stroud. Both teams should be relatively healthy, therefore, we should see two of the NFL’s best WR trios against two surging defenses. It’s also a chance for the Bears to make a statement by defeating this year’s NFL darling and putting the league on notice that the Bears are a team to be reckoned with in 2024.
Week 8 @ Commanders
The first and second overall picks in the 2024 NFL draft going head to head in Week 2 (Williams vs. Jayden Daniels) will have NFL enthusiasts salivating. Going into the NFL draft, there was some debate on who the best quarterback prospect was coming out of this draft class. This is the chance for both guys to show why they proved their franchise right by taking them to lead their teams. The Bears will be coming off a bye week and will have extra time to prepare, while the Commanders get the Panthers ahead of the Week 8 showdown.
Week 11 vs Packers
It seems incredible that we have to wait until Week 11 for the first NFC North game of the season. But just like last year, that first divisional game is against the Packers in Soldier Field. Bears fans have PTSD from last year’s home game, where Jordan Love outdueled Justin Fields, and all the hope and optimism from the offseason was burst. This anticipated matchup features an entirely different Bears team that will look to end their current 10-game losing streak to the Packers. Also, unlike last year, we should have a good idea of each team’s strengths and weaknesses heading into this game, and there could already be playoff implications on the line. For Bears fans, this is always the most exciting game of the year.
