It’s barely been a month since the 2024 NFL draft wrapped, but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to look ahead to next year’s class of top prospects.

The folks over at Draft Wire have a new 2025 NFL mock draft that covers the first two rounds, and it has the Chicago Bears loading up on talent for both sides of the ball.

In the first round, this projection has the Bears landing Penn State edge defender Dani Dennis-Sutton to bolster the pass rush. Chicago also owns the Carolina Panthers’ pick at the top of the second round, which this mock has them spending on Iowa State defensive lineman Tyler Onyedim to bolster the interior.

After that, Chicago takes Alabama offensive lineman Tyler Booker to strengthen the trenches for quarterback Caleb Williams, and then they trade back up to the last pick of the second round for another member of the Crimson Tide, safety Keon Sabb.

That would be a fantastic haul for the Bears as they continue their rebuild around Williams and look to finally end their long postseason drought. Dennis-Sutton would team up with Montez Sweat and 2024 fifth-rounder Austin Booker to improve Chicago’s pass rush, while Booker could be an immediate starter at guard. Onyedim and Sabb could also push for instant playing time at two positions of need on defense for the Bears.
