2024 NFL Preseason: Bears snag 3 nationally televised preseason games

Chicago Bears fans won’t have to wait long to get a glimpse of new franchise quarterback Caleb Williams, as the NFL Network announced Tuesday that the Bears will appear in three live games televised by league.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport shared the full slate of games:

NFL Network has announced we will carry 21 live preseason games, with a heavy emphasis on the rookie QBs (with three #Bears games).

It starts on Saturday, Aug. 10, when the Bears travel to Buffalo to take on the Bills. In Week 2, Chicago will be home against the Cincinnati Bengals (Aug. 17), and in Week 3, the Bears will be featured in a “primetime game” on Thursday night (Aug. 22) against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Indeed, while preseason games don’t have nearly the excitement of regular-season games, it’s still pretty cool that the Chicago Bears are generating this much buzz in 2024. It’ll be especially awesome to experience the pre- and post-game emotions from each contest on HBO’s Hard Knocks, which will feature the Bears this summer.
