D.J. Moore among NFL’s best WRs vs. man coverage in 2023
One of the Bears’ star pass-catchers was stellar when going up against man coverage last season.
The Chicago Bears made a huge addition to their offense last year when they acquired wide receiver D.J. Moore in the blockbuster deal that sent the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft to the Carolina Panthers.
That deal is the gift that keeps on giving for the Bears, who ended up with this year’s No. 1 overall pick as a result, landing their new franchise quarterback in Caleb Williams.
But Williams will have the benefit of multiple star pass-catchers, including Moore, who was one of the NFL’s best against man coverage last season (per Pro Football Focus):

Having reliable veterans like Moore and the newly acquired Keenan Allen, as well as a stud rookie in top-10 pick Rome Odunze, should help Williams make an immediate impact in Chicago.
