Fantasy Football: Updated look at ADPs for Bears players
The Chicago Bears have several playmakers worth targeting in fantasy football this year
Fantasy Football season is swiftly approaching. Committed players are beginning to schedule their drafts for the summer ahead of the 2024 regular-season campaign. The Chicago Bears are scheduled to field several offensive playmakers worth targeting in your drafts. We recently visited Fantasy Pros for an updated look at average draft position (ADP) for Bears players.
CALEB WILLIAMS | QB16 | 99 OVERALL
Caleb Williams currently offers terrific value for Bears fans who believe he’s going to rewrite the team’s record books as a rookie quarterback. Williams is currently the 99th overall drafted player per FantasyPros’ averages or the 16th quarterback. Signal callers being drafted ahead of the Bears’ No. 1 overall pick currently include Brock Purdy (QB11) and Trevor Lawrence (QB15).
D’ANDRE SWIFT | RB21 | 67 OVERALL
D’andre Swift is expected to command the Bears’ backfield after signing a three-year, $24 million contract with the team in free agency. Swift is currently being drafted as the 16th running back at approximately 67 overall, meaning he’s available in the sixth or seventh round. Running backs being selected ahead of him include Aaron Jones (RB18) and Najee Harris (RB19).
D.J. MOORE | WR16 | 30 OVERALL
Chicago’s 1,000-yard receiver is being drafted as the 16th overall wideout. Outsiders may be worried that D.J. Moore will now be sharing targets with Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze. Offensive coordinator Shane Waldron is installing a pass-happier offense, so there should be plenty of remaining opportunities for Moore in the passing game.
KEENAN ALLEN | WR26 | 52 OVERALL
The Bears acquired Allen from the Los Angeles Chargers earlier this offseason to serve as a security blanket for Williams. The six-time Pro Bowler will occupy his regular positioning as the slot wideout. Arguably the most consistent performer in the league, another 1,000-yard receiving season should be on the horizon for Allen.
ROME ODUNZE | WR46 | 109 OVERALL
Drafting a rookie receiver always comes with inherited risk. Rome Odunze is uber-talented, but what will his role be in a Bears offense that features Moore, Swift, Allen, and Cole Kmet? Those questions are reflected in Odunze’s current ADP, with a position ranking of 46, and overall ADP of 109.
COLE KMET | TE16 | 130 OVERALL
Cole Kmet posted career-highs in receptions (73) and receiving yards (719) last season. Despite that success, the former Notre Dame standout may not even be drafted in your league if you play in a 12-team league. Kmet is currently seeing an ADP of 130 overall and 16 among all tight ends.
