Eddie Vedder rocks Walter Payton jersey at Pearl Jam concert

Nearly 60 years ago in Evanston, Illinois, he was born Edward Louis Severson III.

Now, he’s better known as Eddie Vedder, lead singer of legendary grunge rock band Pearl Jam.

Eddie hasn’t forgotten his roots, though, as he proved during a recent concert in Manchester, during which he was rocking a Walter Payton Chicago Bears jersey:

Kudos to Eddie for bringing a little “Sweetness” to the stage and repping one of the most legendary players and teams in pro sports history.
