It’s never too early to take a look at the top prospects who could be available in next year’s NFL draft, and that’s exactly what Pro Football Network does in their latest 2025 NFL mock draft.

In this early first-round forecast, the Chicago Bears spend the No. 19 overall pick on Ole Miss edge defender Princely Umanmielen, giving their defensive another high-upside player at a premium position.

“Umanmielen’s fluidity, bend, and first-step quickness resulted in career-highs in TFLs (11.5), sacks (seven), and QB hurries (17) last season, and he’s another productive year away from a first-round selection,” writes PFN’s James Fragoza.

Listed at 6-5 and 255 pounds, the transfer from Florida has the ideal frame to line up across from Montez Sweat in Matt Eberflus’ scheme, and his combination of physical tools and production could easily make him a first-round pick by the time next April rolls around.
