Updated Super Bowl odds should have Chicago Bears fans excited
The Chicago Bears have surprisingly good Super Bowl odds entering the 2024 NFL season.
When was the last time the Chicago Bears had a chance … any chance … at being legitimate Super Bowl contenders? That long pause while you think of an answer is the answer.
The sad reality is that the Bears haven’t been relevant for years. This is usually the case when a team doesn’t have a championship-caliber quarterback, and Chicago’s history of failures at the sport’s most important position is the main reason they’ve been more of a punchline than a Super Bowl favorite.
The 2024 season feels different, though. It’s the Caleb Williams effect, and it extends beyond just the vibe within the fanbase. Even the Las Vegas oddsmakers are getting a little tingly about this team.
In the latest 2024 Super Bowl odds published by BetMGM, the Chicago Bears rank 15th at +3000. They’re ahead of the Colts, Browns, Seahawks, and a slew of other teams that normally sleep their way to a better finish than Chicago.
Caleb Williams is a significantly better natural passer than Fields ever was and that’s just a fact. Sorry if it hurts your feelings ???

Unfortunately, the Green Bay Packers have the 9th-best odds at +1600, while the Detroit Lions are fourth at +1200.
Regardless, it’s not about the other teams in the NFC North, this is about the Bears, a team that’s usually a favorite in the race for the first pick in the NFL Draft this time of year. Caleb Williams has changed the narrative. Chicago is now a squad in the upper half of the NFL.
What a time to be alive.
