How many Bears will be ranked in the NFL’s Top 100 Players?
These three Chicago Bears players should make the NFL’s Top 100 players of 2024.
Every year, NFL players are asked to vote for their Top 100 players for the upcoming season. In 2023, the Chicago Bears had just one player named to this list, Justin Fields, and now that he’s the backup quarterback in Pittsburgh, it feels like a safe bet that he will not be featured in 2024.

However, after the year that some other Bears players had, it feels inevitable that Chicago will have more representation on this annual list.
Here’s who we think should be included.
Jaylon Johnson
It will be a travesty if Jaylon Johnson does not make the NFL Top 100 list after winning his first Pro Bowl award in 2023 and ending the year as the highest-graded cornerback by Pro Football Focus. Johnson bet on himself in a contract year, and it paid off in a big way. His career-high four interceptions went a long way to securing his $76 million extension this offseason.
It’s never a lock with the Top 100 list, but Johnson feels like a pretty safe bet to earn a spot.
Montez Sweat
Like Johnson, Sweat had a career year in 2023. He led both his former team (the Washington Commanders) and the Chicago Bears in sacks with 12.5 and earned his first Pro Bowl award. He may not be in the upper echelon of elite pass rushers, but I would expect his fellow players to at least recognize him as one of the 100 best players.
DJ Moore
Despite inefficient and often unreliable play from his quarterback, Moore posted several career-highs. He pulled in 96 passes for 1,364 yards and 8 touchdowns, plus a rushing touchdown on a trick play against the Detroit Lions.

Despite gaining over 1,100 yards in four of his last five seasons, Moore has never made the Top 100 list. It would be fitting for him to debut on the list after the kind of season he just had.
