Why Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze are the perfect match
The Bears’ top rookie pair have one particular trait that makes them an ideal tandem.
The Chicago Bears landed a new franchise quarterback with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft, tabbing USC’s Caleb Williams to replace Justin Fields.
But they also got another elite talent for their offense with an additional top-10 pick, landing Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze at No. 9 overall.
Even with multiple established veterans ahead of him in D.J. Moore and Keenan Allen, Odunze has one particular trait that could make his connection with Williams pave the way to being the Bears’ most productive receiver this season, as Jori Epstein of Yahoo! Sports points out:
