WATCH: Tyson Bagent’s hilarious reaction to Caleb Williams’ signing bonus
There’s a big difference between being the No. 1 overall pick and being an undrafted free agent.
The Chicago Bears have a starting quarterback who was the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL draft, and a backup quarterback who went undrafted.
There’s a little bit of a financial difference there, as you might imagine.
Williams won the Heisman Trophy at USC in 2022, and was crowned the eventual No. 1 pick from the moment he stepped foot on the college field as a freshman at Oklahoma.
Tyson Bagent signed with the Bears as an undrafted free agent, and played admirably during his few opportunities as a rookie last season.
