The Chicago Bears made a few minor roster moves ahead of Week 10’s showdown against the New England Patriots.
Former 2022 third-round pick, safety JT Woods, was added to the practice squad after cornerback Ameer Speed was promoted to the active roster.
#Bears have signed S JT Woods to the practice squad. He was a 3rd rd pick by the #Chargers in 2022.
Sounds like CB Jaylon Jones (shoulder) will likely head to injured reserve. That’s a tough blow as Jones has been very good on special teams this season.

According to Chicago Tribune Bears insider Brad Biggs, Speed’s promotion is likely because cornerback Jaylon Jones is heading to injured reserve with a shoulder injury.
There was even worse news on the injury front, as defensive lineman Andrew Billings was placed on injured reserve with a torn pec. His season is likely over.
