Bears Injury Report, Week 12: Offense limping into Vikings game
Chicago Bears injury report for Week 12 includes two critical stars on offense.
The Chicago Bears face a difficult challenge in Sunday’s Week 12 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings defense, which thrives on bringing pressure and forcing opposing quarterbacks into costly mistakes. It’ll be especially difficult for the Bears and rookie quarterback Caleb Williams, who’ll experience Brian Flores’ defense for the first time in his career.
The best friend to any young quarterback is a strong running game and quality possession receivers. Unfortunately for Williams, both of those aspects of the Bears’ offense could be in trouble this week.
Chicago’s updated injury report lists wide receiver Keenan Allen and running back D’Andre Swift as questionable, meaning there’s a 50/50 chance either or both of them won’t play.

Allen’s injury is a more significant concern. The Bears can turn to the hard-charging Roschon Johnson if Swift can’t go. If Allen is sidelined, the options aren’t nearly as abundant. Tyler Scott will be the first receiver off the bench, but it’s more likely offensive coordinator would feature a heavier dose of tight end Cole Kmet if Allen’s ankle keeps him out of action.
The Bears-Vikings game will be played at 1 p.m. EST on Sunday, November 24, at Soldier Field.
