Bears place CB Jaylon Johnson on injured reserve, make more roster moves
The Chicago Bears placed multiple players on injured reserve ahead of Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, including star cornerback Jaylon Johnson.
The Chicago Bears will be without one of their most important defenders for the foreseeable future.
Cornerback Jaylon Johnson was placed on injured reserve, along with offensive tackle Kiran Amegadjie, per multiple reports:
The Bears also signed defensive lineman Tanoh Kpassagnon to their active roster.
Johnson missed Week 1 with multiple injuries, but returned to the starting lineup for last week’s game against the Detroit Lions. But he re-aggravated his groin injury in the second quarter, and now it’ll be at least four games before Chicago fans see him back on the field.
Losing Amegadjie is a blow to the Bears’ offensive line depth, while Kpassagnon gives them some added help along the defensive front.
The Bears are hoping to avoid an 0-3 start by beating the Dallas Cowboys at Solider Field on Sunday, but these developments won’t help their cause.
